Does anyone remember Captain Planet? When the five elements came together, they formed a super hero who had a little bit of every element and was five times as amazing. "Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Heart - By your powers combined..." Well, while we don't promise to become a super hero, by coming together, we hope to bring you a special dose of goodness. A special mix of passions and perspectives that help across our very multifaceted lives. From a leadership coach to a nutrition coach, to a travel designer, book lovers and a home aficionado - we have vastly different areas of expertise and interests, yet we are each here to support, lift up

and celebrate each other.

I’m Jen, a professional, mom of three, and the owner of a travel agency that specializes in family travel. The idea for the company actually started during a late-night phone call - I was helping a friend plan her family’s vacation, walking her through every detail. My husband overheard the conversation and, when I came to bed, he said, “You know, you should really make a business out of this - you clearly love it.” He was right. In 2018, I took the leap and founded Global On Demand Travel - a boutique travel company born from both passion and purpose. What began as a way to help friends plan magical Disney vacations has grown into a thriving business with a team of like-minded, independent consultants - each a busy professional with a shared love for exploration. From the glaciers of Iceland to the vibrant streets of Japan, we curate personalized experiences across the globe, including all-inclusive resorts, cruises, and immersive cultural journeys.


Travel, to me, is deeply transformative. I find immense joy in crafting trips that bring families closer together and turn ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. There’s something profoundly special about watching your children walk through places they’ve only read about in books - history coming to life, empathy deepening through exposure to different cultures. I believe the strongest bonds are formed when we discover new corners of the world together, and I feel truly honored to help others create those moments.

During my time as a leader in independent schools, I witnessed smart, capable women doubt themselves, get frustrated, and burn out before reaching their personal and professional goals. I also saw the lack of representation of women in the highest levels of leadership. I knew I needed to do something to change these statistics.


Combining my experience in non-profit leadership, my education in Women’s and Gender Studies, and my passion for mentoring women, I created a business that could make an impact. I began coaching women leaders to provide one-on-one support, speaking around the country to women leaders about essential leadership skills, and starting the podcast Confidently You: Women in Leadership, to lift up the work, lives, and stories of women leaders in schools. Each aspect of Pleasantly Aggressive is rooted in the mission to support women leaders so they can reach their goals with confidence and authenticity.

It's time to feel good again.

Hi, I’m Ashley, a mom of three, a certified nutrition coach, and a woman who spent way too many years caught in the cycle of dieting, restriction, and chasing perfection. For a long time, I thought being healthy meant shrinking myself, counting every calorie, tracking every bite, obsessing over numbers. I was deep in it… until one day, my daughter looked up at me and asked, “Why are you weighing your lettuce and berries?”


That question stopped me cold.

Because the truth is I didn’t want her to grow up thinking that was normal. I didn’t want her to inherit the same food rules, body guilt, and all-or-nothing mindset I had carried for so long.


That moment cracked something open in me. It became the catalyst for changing how I treated myself and eventually, for helping other women do the same.


Now, as a coach, I help busy, overwhelmed women, especially moms, rebuild trust with food, stop obsessing over every choice, and finally break free from the binge-restrict cycle. My work is rooted in compassion, flexibility, and real-life strategies that actually work when you're juggling carpool, careers, and everything in between.


My mission is simple: To help women feel confident, nourished, and strong without needing to weigh their lettuce or earn their meals.


If you're tired of the pressure, the shame, and the endless start-overs, I want you to know: you’re not broken. You just need a better way and I'm here to help you find it.

Cheers to another great read!

We are Ali and Emilee from @thebookclubcart.   The Book Club Cart was initially inspired by our local book club we created years ago with fellow moms on our child’s soccer team. The first book was Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This was such a fun book to host because we pulled inspiration from the old Hollywood theme through decor, cocktails, and food. After that initial meeting, the creativity was flowing through us to pull on these book themes to take our book club to the next level.  


Working so closely to create these book club meetings and thus sharing our love of reading with others, we knew we wanted to expand to a greater audience. We also started a signature drink at each of our book club meetings to correspond with the book that month. As a result The Book Club Cart was created to combine book reviews and recommendations along with our fun bar cart that includes signature cocktails.


Reading has brought us purpose, joy and an amazing community of women. Getting back into reading can feel daunting, but we firmly believe reading is for everyone.  With our reading tips and recommendations - we are here to help you find your passion for books!

Feeling inspired at the House Beautiful's Annual Whole Home Showhouse

One of my all time favorite quotes is from Maya Angelou. She famously explained, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” I whole heartedly believe this sentiment and believe that it can relate to the feeling of "home" as well. When our three kids are ready to fly the nest, I don't expect them to remember everything about how our home was organized, designed or furnished, but I do hope they remember the feeling. I hope they remember a place where they felt seen, heard and safe - a place they could feel rooted. I also hope they think fondly of home as a place where they could dream their biggest dreams. A launching pad where their feet were so well anchored that they could let their minds wonder and float all the way up to the clouds. These two feelings are why I celebrate home with the handle @reverie.and.root. This is a place where I share ideas, support and my path for trying to make the little things add up to the bigger feeling of "home."


Spilling Goodness is an idea, community and platform that I was inspired to launch after meeting with dear mom friends. We met on a Thursday night in December to share our "Favorite Things" as a celebation before the holidays. I learned about so many great "favorites", found out more about a football program for my son, and literally took notes on my phone. This feeling - of being energized from catching up, venting, sharing experiences and laughing until it hurts- I wanted to bottle it up, be able to share the feeling and come back to it often. And, here we are - Spilling Goodness!
